Default Spouse visa extension

Evening, hope everyone is well and safe.

Is there anyone kind enough to advice if Spouse visa extension application will consider applicant's character please? if so, should applicant declare an incident involved consequently being arrested but released with no further action? is that still being recorded on the national police record? will this affect the application badly or will fail...?

Thank you in advance...
TL

Section 10 of the FLR(M) form asks for Personal information and includes, warning, remands, arrests etc.

You must declare any arrests .......

Depending on what you were arrested for and its consequences might influence the decision.
