Default Is the Home Office still working during the coronavirus lockdown

Hi all,
Just out of curiosity, is the home office still processing settlement applications? Has anyone had a reply in regards to their application in the last few days?

Hope everyone is staying safe.

Cheers,
Geertz

Yes they are. The problem is that all biometrics locations are closed (those which are located in libraries) and many appointments are being cancelled due to staffing.

Plus HMRC are still working on everything as all the helplines are staffed. The only thing we cannot do just at the moment is full compliance work contacting businesses etc.

Government is still pretty much in full operation - my husband is a civil servant and has been logged in to work for the past 45 minutes... he has been working from home for a week now and everyone who can work from home has been encouraged to do so too.
