Default IELTS A2 FLR M Renewal when is best time to take?

hi all... I was looking for a post with regards to this matter and unfortunately, I can't see any post stating when is the best time to take IELTS a2 for flr-m renewal... can anyone help me with this? is there also an expiration for IELTS that I need to take it earlier as it is quite confusing that it was written that I have to take IELTS a2 2.5yrs after I lived in the UK when I would need to submit documents 28days before for renewal. it is kind of confusing when is the best time I should take IELTS. Any advice? Thanks
