Default SET(M) submiting scanned documents

Hi,
We are getting my husband'sapplication in order before we submit it. But getting the document's scanned and organised is taking longer than anticipated.
If we submit and pay for the application, can we submit scanned documents afterwards prior to attending the Biometric appointment or do all the scanned documents have to be submitted when it is paid for and biometric appointment booked online?
Many thanks

Yes, as long as all documents are uploaded before or on the day of the appointment, that is fine.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. We need to apply before the 28 day period and my most recent payslip is dated 23rd January.
We were getting worried trying to get it all in order and supporting documents scanned. Hopefully submit and pay for the application by Tuesday and book the Biometric appointment leaving enough time to get the scanned documents sorted.

I am in same boat as you. We submitted on sunday and I like yourself thought i had to submit at that point. However once you pay you get directed to the Sopra Website where once you register you have up until the day of appointment to load documents. Unless of course you choose a service like documents scanning or checking (we chose that). In that case everything has to be loaded before by 2 days or something, it tells you thins when you choose the service.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply Mr L, We booked the applications at Newcastle in early March as they were fully booked for the next 2 week's. Scanning and organising the supporting is very slow and tedious.
Good luck

Hi.
I've some follow up questions.
Do all pages of the applicant's previous passport need to be scanned or is it just the photo page and visa page with entry stamp?
Do we scan the back page's of the jointly addressed letters or just the front page showing the joint names and address?
Is there any documents we need to certify before we scan them? We only have the Bank statements with bank stamps currently.
Thanks for your help.

1. Yes, to your first question, - ALL pages.
2. With utility type bills I scanned the first page, with the names & address and key information on, but not all the peripheral pages.
3. My understanding is that any (important) documents in a foreign (non-English) language need to be accompanied by certified translations. E.g. birth or marriage certificates.
I would expect bank statements to relate to UK bank accounts and thus be in English, so no to them, similarly things like pay slips.

Hi,
Thanks RichJohn. We have scanned all pages of the current passport, wasn't sure about the previous passport and we still have the English translation of the marriage certificate from FLR(M) visa application.

Sorry I got another query.
We submitted the application on 17th Feb and the sponsor declaration is also signed on the same date. We uploaded some letters such as the homeowners letter. Applicant letter, sponsor and family support letters etc. These are also signed and dated 17th Feb.
Should we reprint them and change the dates before the 17th or am I worrying over nothing.

Thanks once again for your help.
