~ Dates confusion ~

My initial entry to the UK on a spousal visa was stamped in my passport as 8-05-2015. ( May 8th )
My BRP was issued on 30-10-2017 after doing my FLR appointment at the 2 and 1/2 year point.

What would be the start date of my current visa or leave to remain?
Do I use the passport date or the BRP date?
Also which of the two dates above do I use when counting back 28 days?

I do hope somebody can help me.
Thank you

You count back 28 days from your entry date, ie 28 days from 8th May 2015. The start date of your current visa is 30th October 2017

What is the context of your question? Are you asking when you will become eligible for Indefinite Leave to Remain?

Thank you very much for the clarification.
So I am allowed to submit my application anytime between April 20th - May 8th

Sorry Clever Octopus for confusing you in what I was asking.
Not to mention that I am very confused about many things in this final application.

I now know that I am to subtract the 28 days from when my passport was stamped upon first entry to the UK in 2015, which was the 8th of May in 2015.

Thank you for your reply.
