Default How long is my other half allowed to visit family back home without me

Hi, First post we will be sorting my husbands next FLRM due to expire 10/09 and was wondering how long he is permitted during his first two years to be out of the UK without me to visit family. I cant go due to work.
We also had a holiday abroad last year for 10 days together but dont know it that matters.
thanks all

My wife goes home to visit family and go on holidays without me and there's no issues returning. Be sure to have BRP. I am not quite certain on the duration allowed but we stick to 90 days maximum per year to be safe.

There isn't any hard rule on allowable absences for spouses (except when applying to naturalise as British after receiving ILR).

Visits abroad of less than 2 weeks aren't even required to be disclosed. In general, if it's just a temporary visit and his permanent home is still with you in the UK, it should be no problem. If your husband starts approaching 180 days out of the UK in any 12-month period, he should be prepared to defend the reason for such long/frequent visits (employer required him to go abroad temporarily, taking care of a seriously ill family member, etc.)
