Default Date relationship started?

Hi,

Can anyone give some advise on what to put for this question?

We first had contact in May 2014 and had friendly chat for a while before swapping numbers/adding each other on FB and getting more romantically entwined long distance.

However, he didn't arrive here to see me until November 2014. Then we became official and in a committed relationship. But we were of course acting in a romantic manner before that, pet names and terms of endearment etc.

What should I put? November seems a bit late because we weren't together physically until then but any time too further back implies just a friendship.

Thanks.

There isn't much time between May and November 2014, so I would either pick November , as the time you made it official in person OR pick a month before when you had begun to consider yourselves in a relationship.

UKVI would not consider you to be in a relationship until you met in person, so I'd agree that November is the right date. Of course you're explaining this in your covering letter so it should be obvious how you decided to meet

Good idea, I'll go with November. And yes, there's stuff in the cover letter about how we met and the timeline. Thanks!
