An application for indefinite leave will be based on your individual circumstances. Even if you meet the eligibility criteria and all other relevant rules, your application may not be approved.

Just read this whilst trying to find an address for which We should address a letter from my parents confirming that they are happy to allow us to stay in their property.

So 1st question is that correct even if we provide everything needed and all correct is it possible that the application could be rejected

2nd question does anyone know who we address the letter to

3rd question it says to provide passport evidence of the owner of the property ... would we need to provide both mother and fathers passport as they both own property or would just one be enough

Where did you read that?

If you are judged to meet the eligibility criteria based on the evidence you submit, you will be approved. There is sometimes (well, often!) confusion about what evidence is required, and there have been cases where mistakes seem to have been made, but it shouldn't happen that people are rejected for random reasons outside of the eligibility criteria.

I doubt it matters much - I'd imagine "FAO Home Office", "To whom it may concern", "Dear Sir/Madam" etc are fine.

I have no knowledge of this area - is there any difficulty in providing both passports?

Don’t think there will be any issues providing both passports was just thinking there would be quite a lot of pages to scan ... or would I just need to scan the page with their details on rather than the whole passports.

My partner has 3 passports that all need scanning and I think I need to scan the whole of my passport aswell

Think we are going to start scanning things next week as I have now found a scanner that I can use.

I scan scan all the documents to go to my email .... from there do I just attach them to the application

Yep, you'll need full scans of the sponsor's and all applicant's passports.

You need to make sure that each file is in the required format and below the required size. There's lots of advice on other questions about this.

You upload the documents after you've finalized and paid for your application.

I'll let someone else reply about the passport evidence of the owner of the property - but my guess is that it's better to provide more rather than less

Just to expand on the scanning point - the upload page says they allow PDF, JPEG, and PNG; that they require each file to be under 6MB, and that they recommend scanning in black and white if it helps keep the size down.
