Default About payslips dates

hi..im ready with most of my documents..but again im stuck..

we need to apply within 28 days from date stated in last payslip..now is this 28 days counted on online application submitted or documents submission ?

bcz will be getting all the documents on the exact ending date of payslip(if last payslip is 22 march i can submit document on 22 april ) :-( so something like submitting form early n documents on same day will be fine ??

Well I had the same question and Joppa advised me that the 28 days start from your online application date and not the submission/biometric date, I dont know how much of its is true but Joppa does have very good knowledge about things.

JOPPA?

Yes, your application is dated when you pay the fee on line, not when you go to your biometrics appointment.

You will be 3 days too late if your last payslip is 22 March and you submit on 22 April.

X X X ->There are 31 days in March <- X X X

31 days from Friday March 22 is Monday April 22

30 days from Friday March 22 is Sunday April 21.

28 days from Friday March 22 is Friday April 19.

I guess you and joppa are correct, But if that was the case people would apply online way before submission time then how can we be sure it is still counted from online application date guys?

For example when I go to track my application online it shows application date as the submission date? why not the online application date?

If I'm reading your question correctly. The answer is simply that there is a maximum amount of time between online application date and when you send it in. In the US, when I applied, the application date was the online date - then you had a maximum of 28 days to send the paperwork in, or 14 days after your biometrics, whichever is sooner.

for example
Application online - April 1
Biometrics - April 14
Paperwork due - April 28

or
Application online - April 1
Biometrics - April 3
Paperwork due - April 17

At some of the other hubs the timing is slightly different (usually your application date is the date you pay). So it is important to note where and in some places how your are applying for the deadlines.

The reason for the 28 days before online application is that since you rely on the figures you submit online to meet the requirement, the documentary evidence must also be dated accordingly. Since you are allowed up to a month to get biometrics done and submit your documents (depending on the visa office), the cut-off date must be the online application.

So Joppa do you think am safe? My online application date 17th January 2012, My December payslip dated 21st December, total difference 28 days but I submitted documents on the 22nd January because we had to get TB certificate on the 21st January!!

Will UKBA create any problem as to why TB certificate was obtained after the online application date?
