As the title says. My wife will be making an application for her ILR in the next few weeks. Please can someone have a look at this list, and make any suggestions on what else may be needed? I am applying under Category B, less than 6 months with new employer.

Ok now some questions

1. Do we need to include passport photos? Or are the photos from the Biometrics used? Would the sponsor still be required to attach their photos?
2. Trinity English test was passed more than 2 years ago, but I read somewhere that the certificate can still be used if it was used in a previous successful application
3. My new employer has merged the employment letter together with the proof that online payslip of £x is authentic together. Is this ok?

- You don't need photos
- Sons passport? is he British? or an applicant too?
- language test certificate: if the test center is still on the Approved list of providers then it can be used (when used for previous successful application)
- Merging document is OK - you will have to upload all scanned copies to Sopra Steria Website
As you have to scan and upload everything, you don't need your application (it is logged online).
Marriage certificate: do you have 2? or is it one just a translation?

My son is British, so am not required to submit his passport. I have one marriage certificate, just it has been translated into English

So I don't have to post the photocopies of my documents anymore alongside with the originals, and upload them instead. I haven't paid yet, so have not come across this request.

Also, when is the application date? Is it the date that I make payment, or the date that the documents are posted/received.

Application date is the date you paid online. there is no postal applications any more. Once you paid online you will be directed to Sopra Steria site where you have to register to make your appointment for biometrics and where you will be required to upload scanned copies of all your documents
