Default Unmarried partner - Evidence for last day

Hi,

I posted a while back about being a day short for the unmarried partner visa. Based on the positive feedback we got from this we are going to give it a go. We will apply on the day it expires however this is a Sunday. We have managed to find a Post Office open on a Sunday however we have been advised that we need to evidence the last day too. This is a bit of a pain as it is on a Sunday.

Does anyone have any advice on how we could evidence our cohabitation on the day we submit our application considering it will be on a Sunday?

Thanks again,

Ed

I've never heard that you have to evidence the last day which in most cases would be impossible.

Nyclon, thank you very much for your reply. I have one final question. The Tier 5 expires on 01/07. If we send the application on 01/07 via special delivery so that the postage time is logged, but clearly wont get to the home office until a few days later (as the 1st is a Sunday), will this still be considered an on time application? We really need to wait until the last day so that we have our two years cohabitation. The confusion is that I just rung the HO and they said that they had to GET the application on the day of the expiry for it to be classed as on time. This appears to be at adds with 34G of the immigration rules.
