Hello everyone, hope you all are doing great..

I'm a Tunisian married to a Romanian husband and my family permit was approved a month ago, and recently I moved to the UK with my husband.

I would like to ask what would be the next step? How to apply for a residence card and what are the required papers and procedures ..

To obtain a National insurance number do I need to get my residence card first? And what are the documents required?

Your help will be highly appreciated as I need those details to start gathering documents based on accurate information and provide me with as many details as you can !

Thank you very much

Hello everyone,

I contacted the NIN office and one of the documents they require is a proof of address. As I recently arrived to the UK, I don't have a bank account or utility bills with my address on it. What's the solution in this case? If my husband provide a rental agreement or bank statement is that considered a proof of address as we're living together? If not how can I get that proof with my name on it?

Thank you very much

Have a beautiful day

I'd like to bump this thread to ask the same question.

Does anyone know what documents are required when applying for a National Insurance # ? On the application it only says "include copies of your documents" but does not state what they are.

Also wondering about proof of address since I just arrived, too.

Thanks a bunch, and congratulations and good luck to you Soulita.
