Arrow Vetassess - apply for subclass 189 while assessment for subclass 190 is in progress

Dear all,

I have applied for Vetassess within the Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) under Queensland nomination, because I am a recent PhD graduate of a Queensland University. However, since there is an option of creating a new application in my online application portal at https://www1.skillassess.com/, I was wondering whether to urgently submit another Vetassess application - this time within the Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189) - without nominating any state. I was wondering that after that I will wait to see the Vetassess report on both and if the assessment for skilled independent visa subclass 189 is successful submit EOI under that.

In any case, I don't want to get a positive outcome of first (1) Vetassess and then (2) EOI invitation.

FYI, my PhD research is most likely accepted as paid work, because it was an Australia PhD under the prestigious Australian Leadership Award.

What is your advice for at this time, while waiting for Vetassess report?
vetassess assesment, two Vetassess assessments
