Default EOI - Nominated occupation Change

Dear All,

I have submitted my EOI with the Nominated occupation: System Analyst last month. I have earlier received successful ACS assessment for the same profession.

However, after analyzing the latest trend, i planned to change my Nominated occupation and resubmitted my ACS as a Analyst Programmer. Today, I received the successful assessment for this profession as well.

Now in order to update my Nominated occupation in EOI, do i need to withdraw existing EOI and submit a new EOI, or i can update the existing EOI by updating Nominated occupation and ACS references?

Incase i have to update the existing EOI with the new Nominated occupation, what impact will it have on my queue status? will my EOI stays in the queue from the date of creation [i.e. last month] or the date when i updated my Nominated occupation [i.e. Today]?

Looking forward to your positive and valuable feedback regarding this.

Regards,

I am in the same state so does it change your queue status after updating Nominated Occupation?

I think your DOE remains the same. Nevertheless, don't do it if your DOE is preceding to your assessment date of the new occupation. in other words, your assessment date of the new occupation should be earlier to your DOE date.

Any reason for that?

I've never done it, but in theory, as pointed out by many of the forum it is an abuse channel if the DOE won't change.

LEt us know how you go.
