Default cheap new furniture to get you started!

Hi all, i've just discovered this fab warehouse called superamart, and they are all over Australia AND deliver when it is appropriate for you.

You can also furnish your house for about $6000 from what i can see, it's fabulous. They also do bargain packages, have a look at their website, key in your nearest store and enjoy!

I hadn't heard of them and that's because they are only in certain states in Australia - Queensland and NSW by the looks of it.

I didn't really expect them in South Australia but they're not even in Victoria so they miss out on Melbourne which has a high population!

Regards,
Karen

I haven't heard of it either, but Fantastic Furniture and Sydney's Furniture also have similar deals.

We kitted out with Amart furniture when we arrived. Got a right bargain.

A 3 seater and a 2 seater leather settee, lamp table, coffee table, tv cabinet, dining room table with 6 chairs and two breakfast bar chairs. Think it was about $2500 or maybe less, I forget now.

They do starter package deals - keep your eye out for those they are ideal to get you on your feet cheaply Furniture does look nice too of course

I had found out about Fantastic Furniture before we arrived here and thought that it was a great idea. We went straight there and got a package including corner suite, coffee table, tv unit, bookcase, side unit (buffet), dining table and 6 chairs for $2000. After we had bought everything we started seeing the same sort of store everywhere. These discount package stores seem to be quite big over here and are great if you are starting from scratch like we did. We also got our bedroom furniture and our son's bedroom furniture from the same store and they delivered everything for us on the same day.
