Default Recommended state primary schools in Bronte area

Hello

My family and I are moving to the Bronte suburb of Sydney very soon and I was hoping someone might have some information about primary schools in the area, any recommendations?

Many thanks in advance

Hi,
I don't have first hand experience but Bronte Public School has above average results for NAPLAN testing (National Literacy and Numeracy tests taken in Yr 3 and 5), which is a positive indicator for the school. As this is a popular \ well populated area I think it will be more about exactly where you live and which school's catchment area you're within, so that you can secure a place. The Bronte Public School website has a map of their catchment area.
I believe Waverley Public School has a good reputation; it's between Bronte and Bondi Junction so could be convenient.
The only other public primary school in the vacinity is Clovelly Public.

As well as public schools you'll probably find good Catholic primary schools which are fee paying, but not as expensive as independent private schools.

Good luck!

Thank you so much for your reply. As you say, I think it's more a case of finding somewhere to live first and the schools will fall into place (hopefully!). We're almost there with that one!

Thanks again
