Smile Desperate to move to australia!!

Hi All
Im new to the site so please be gentle with me!! Myself and my husband would love to make the move to australia with our 2 children age 4 and 11. Im 42 husband just 44. We have seeked advice before now and not had a great deal of feedback, except NO we are unable to make that move we so desperatley want. My husband works for a company that manufactures and supplies special seating for the disabled. He has worked in this field for at least 10 years now. He is also a qualified reflexologist. We did think maybe we could set up a business out there. You hear of people making the move one way or another and have recentley been told australia is easier than america to get into, is this right? Please if there is anyone who could give advice on how YOU managed to make that move, whether it was through work or sponsor etc, we would be grateful. Thanku x

Hi Julie,

Welcome to the forum.

Have you had a read of the sticky posts at the top of the forum? They may help you.
Have you been through the Australian Visa Wizard - Visas & Immigration That points you in the right direction for the visas - it has the most common visas.

The rules are changing on July 1st and I don't know whether that will help or hinder you but some people find that the new rules are in their favour.

Cheers,
Karen

It's much easier than AMerica that's for sure infact Australia is easily the easiest of countries to migrate too. But they do want qualfified skills it really is a must. If no luck down the skilled route there are other ways like study and business investment.

Good luck!
