I've been offered a job through a recruitment agent and i've been passed onto a migration agent (her husband) do you think I'll need a migration agent if I'm being supported by an employer?
Cheers

Hi PhysioJo, make sure the agent is MARA approved and see how much they wish to charge for their services, I am a little frustrated with agents as I started filing for a move to Australia over a year ago and so far all I have is a mountain of paperwork and have been informed my skills are no longer on the skills on demand list.
So my thoughts are the best agents are those who will charge you when the services are complete and not before, almost a no win, no fee type arrangement.
You can do it yourself, but these people are suppossed to be the so called experts in their field. The thing to watch out for is that these people are generally solicitors, so if it all goes wrong, they can argue the legalities of their side.
Good luck with the job, I hope I get to be as lucky as you soon.
