Do you have an accounting qualification? If not it will be impossible to use that occupation, you need to have studied 12 specific accounting modules.

They may well do but it might not fulfil the requirements to pass an accountant skills assessment because it wont have contained the same modules as an accounting qualification.

Dear Uzair,

Please visit the following page to get information about the assessment process for Accountant occupation.

CPA Australia - Migration assessment

You are definitely eligible if you have covered 9 out of 12 core knowledge areas required for qualification assessment. For a positive assessment your degree should be equivalent to an Australian Bachelor Degree and you need 7 band in each module of IELTS academic test.

You should thoroughly research and compare your syllabus with that of the core knowledge areas. If you cover these areas during your study, you definitely qualify for migration.

@ Shel : It is not necessary to complete all 12 core knowledge areas. Many people who have studied business cover the minimum knowledge areas (i.e 9 including the mandatory ones) required for qualification assessment.

Regards
