Default PCC from Indian High Commission in Australia

Hi Guys,

I am currently living in Australia and about to apply for PCC in Indian High Commission Australia. Could you please give me some ideas about the question below?

1) The address in my passport is not same as my permanent address in India. Will this impact the processing time of my PCC? Could you please give me an idea on what all things may have an impact on the processing time of PCC?

Cheers,
Guru

Haven't been in this situation but it its not uncommon to have ur address different from the one on your passport. Until PCC i guess case officer will not be looking at your case until all documents are in order. Keep them informed as long as delay is not at your end. Cheers. I know its not a very helpful reply.. just saying don't worry just go ahead..

The processing times vary from 1 week to 6 weeks in most cases.
