Default Three Months Over for FBI PCC - Not yet received.

Dear Seniors,

Please help me if you come across with the same issue.

I have applied for FBI PCC on Sep 18, 2013 and they have processed it and my CC was charged on Nov 7, 2013.

They sent my FBI PCC on Nov 15 to my India address. So for not yet received it.

Without Knowledge of this Forum, I have requested to resend my FBI PCC on Dec 09, 2013. again to India address.

If I would have read this forum well before, I might ask them to send it to USA Friends address.

Day by day I am getting tensed with this FBI PCC.

Please share your experience if you come across this kind of delay for India address.

Thanks,
Murali.

See if you can get any details of the Post from FBI. That will help you track it down. Also what kind of service did they use? Fedex, UPS or regular mail? If regular mail allow atleast 3 weeks to receive it.

Thank you Novaprospekt. They have sent thru USPS ordinary post. No tracking details.. I have gone thru all the FBI PCC Forum threads here which says 2 to 4 weeks from USA to India. But mine is going beyond that. Let me see and hope for the best.

Hi Rahul,

Just received a call from Home that FBI PCC has been reached today. Exactly 39 days it took to reach me from USA.

Thank you very very much for the information provided regarding your experience.

Thanks and regards,
Murali.

Hello Murali,

Very glad to hear that you've received your PCC. Mine just reached the FBI today so I guess it'll take another 2 months for me to get the PCC (for which I've used my brother's address in Texas). My biggest concern are the fingerprints themselves. Hopefully there won't be any issues there since I spent Rs. 2000 on getting myself fingerprinted.

Rahul

Hi Rahul,

Thank you. And very all the best to get quickly your FBI PCC. I am sure that they will start process on 5th or 6th week of the date they received and very next week they will post into given address. Since you took finger prints from professionals, I am sure there will not be any problems in it. And in chennai we spent only 50 Rs to get finger print from State Crime Branch at Santhome.

Thanks,
Murali.

Thanks, Murali. Hoping for the best!

With regards to what you mentioned below, did you take the finger prints on FD-258 printout on plain paper or the FD-258 card itself?

Yes Rahul, I bought FD-258 board paper from Student Xerox here in Chennai and took Finger print. Its kind of thick sheet.

Ah ok. I was worried most about the paper itself thinking they might reject if one didn't use their original card hence went for the finger print expert who had FD-258 cards with him.

Thanks for answering my queries!!
