Default Urgent Help Required

Hi freinds,

I've applied on 21st Nov 2008. ACS evaluation states I am under 2231-79 (SAP Specialist) category & I am also quilified for MODL.
When I filed my application I selected Nominated Occupation " Computing Professional (not e/where class)" & also put all my work experience history under "Computing Professional (not e/where class)".

Am I considered under CSL criteria?

If answer is YES , then shall I log post Logedment enquiry to allocate CO to my case?

Any help would be appreciated

Thank you all

Have you checked your status in https://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/inquiry...o?action=eVisa

If I am not wrong you should have 'Applicaton being processed further' as the latest updated. I understand from this forum, this is an indication that CO will be allocated soon.

Mine looks as below. I am 175 csl.

04/02/2009 Application received - processing commenced
04/02/2009 Application fee received
02/05/2009 Application being processed further

If your status is not updated as above, it may be worth letting deparment know that you fall under CSL category through PLE.

My question was Nominated Occupation " Computing Professional (not e/where class)" was the appropriate selection to be in CSL?

Yes, I think so. I did the same. Nominated Occupation " Computing Professional (not e/where class) + MODL in the application will let the determine know that you are CSL.

"Application being processed further" does this status means CO is assigned to the application? Or how long it will take to assign CO after this status?

Also once CO is assigned how long it will take to get the visa?

Sorry freinds too many questions

Hi:

Somebody posted some links to online spreadsheets in one of the recent threads for tracking the visa grants. So far it looks like most people in the Oct 2008 filing date have COs, a few lucky Dec 2008 applicants have also gotten their visas. From what I read it looks like 2-4 months after CO allocation you get your visa. I think the variances must be due to the timing of PCC and Health Checks.

The spreadsheets are just based on people who applied and reported their results, nothing connected to DIAC.

Start to finish CSL+MODL PR visa looks to be 6 months typically and 4 months in very fast cases. But that's as of now. I don't know whether their volume of 176s is affecting processing times.
