Question Need help - Bachelor degree or master degree

Hi all,

Please suggest a best way to move forward.

1. I have completed Advanced Diploma In Telecommunications from City and Guilds(All the exams passed, but project pending)

2. CCNP Voice as vendor certification (Awarded on 2011 January)
The above vendor certifications are accepted by the ACS as comparable to graduate outcomes of an ICT major at the AQF Diploma level

3. I have 6 years of experience as IT Network Engineer (2006 - to date).

Now i have two options to choose,

I have qualified to do Master of Information Technology in our local university and second i can follow Final year Bachelors directly ( As Top up ).

Now my question is;

As per the vendor qualification, i'll get 10 points (ICT major at the AQF Diploma)

Which is the best way to gain 15 points (AQF Degree)?

And lets say i gained 15 points with my education after degree, how the experience will be calculated in this case?

I prefer to elect master degree without final year bachelors (Extra cost) but the below quote is saying against it,

"To receive points for a Masters degree, you must also have a Bachelor degree, or the Masters degree must be considered as at least comparable to Bachelor level at Australian standards."

Please help me and share your inputs.

"To receive points for a Masters degree, you must also have a Bachelor degree"

OR

"the Masters degree must be considered as at least comparable to Bachelor level at Australian standards"

Your M degree may turn out to be at an M or a B level in Aus which will do the job.

If you search the forum using the name of the local uni then you may find some more information here.

Thanks for the useful information trinkasharma.

In that scenario (If i awarded 15 points for education) how the experience will be calculated, from AQF DIP level (2011) or from the date i complete the AQF Degree level??

I would not be able to say for sure. Did you search for your local uni in here? Why not?
