Default Invitation Visa Class 189

Greetings,

I have received invitation for Visa Class 189 on 4 March 2013 and the deadline is on 3 May 2013. I have all the details except my spouse passport which is delayed due to passport issuing problems in Pakistan.
Please can someone guide me what I should do? Should I apply without spouse information. and When I receive her passport then file an amendment in my application.

I m in dire need of guidance.
Please help.

just write an email to Skill select and request them to give you extension to apply visa due to passport issuance problem in Pakistan. Don't forget to add some passport delay news links in your email so that they can actually see the real picture.

You will have to upload the focus after your application. It will take upto a month for a case officer to be assigned. The CO will give you 28 days to upload the missing documents. So you roughly have 2 months to get your wife's passport. You can also explain your situation to CO if you don't get her passport in 2 month's time and ask for extension. Hope that helps.

Folks
Thanks for your reply.
My Spouse is already having a passport but she has applied for change of marital status on the passport which requires the issuance of new passport.
So should I apply with her previous passport details and hopefully by the time when I receive a case officer and the new passport. I lodge request for amendments in my application.

Any suggestions

if she already have a valid passport then you can use that. Later on you can just update the new passport details. It's not a big issue at all.

Dear All,

The details of my qualifications and certifications are,

• (B.Com) Bachelors of Commerce 2002
• (PFA) Public and Finance Accountant 2010
• (E- MBA Finance) Exe - Manager of Business administration 2010
• (CMA) Cost and Management Accountant 2012
• (M.Com) Master of Commerce (by HEC) 2012

Along with these qualifications, I have also more than 8 years full time paid job experience in the field of accounts, audit and finance since May 2005 to date.

• If I present my professional degree (CMA) for assessment, which was passed in 2012 then I finds my qualifications easily accessed by IPA/CPA/ICAA as comparable qualifications to graduation level or core knowledge areas as specified by DIAC.

Now, what will be the assessment of my professional experience or skills? Because it will remain only of 1 year and then I am out of immigration under this point system class (189) because the minimum criteria is a relevant experience of 3 or more years.

There is a hope if,

• I use my academic qualification (Bachelor in commerce – B.Com) and 2 year Post graduate certificate in Cost and Management Accounting from ICMAP (Foundation & Professional Level) as additional qualifications, which was passed in 2008 then I can find myself in this game. Then my professional experience will also be considered more than 5 years.

Now, I have a question that whether my qualifications and 5 years post qualification experience will be entertained by CPA/ICAA/IPA as positive or something else I have to do.

I look forward for your kind consideration, cooperation and recommendations.

Thanks in advance.

Kaleem
