Default SC 190, 491 Invitations temporarily suspended.

Sorry to know today that all states and territories have temporarily suspended their invitations to SC 190 and 491 aspirants. This move was a result of the delay in FY 20-21 allocation of quotas for different subclass visas from the center to state governments. These allocations are done in the federal budget which has been postponed until Oct-20 due to Covid-19.

However, this is a temporary suspension of invitations NOT a halt to skilled immigration program but it will definitely impact application processes by adding substantial delays.

The skilled immigration program is the backbone for country's economic growth and post Covid-19 more skilled workforce will be required for the nation's prosperity. I hope, once the crisis subsides, the authorities this time will come with solid immigration policies to welcome more immigrants than in previous years.
