Hi friends
I applied for 309/100 partner visa in Feb 2020 and then applied visitor 600 visa in 2nd week of Mar2020 to my wife.. it's been 3 months after visitor 600 visa application.. Anyone hearing any news on 600 visa grants? all the visa processing on hold for now? I searched DHA sites/AHC, New Delhi site and all, no where could find clarity on application processing status or hold.. etc. Things are very uncertain now and trying to hear folks experience on 600 processing at the moment.. Please share

Thanks, Krish

If you look under Disruption of services section, you would find that because of this pandemic many services are unavailable for overseas applicants like medicals, verification checks, biometric collection, etc. Unfortunately you are in for a few months wait.

Looks like Australian high commission@ Delhi not yet started processing 600 Family sponsored visitor visa for spouse.. (after applying 309/100)... Spoke to some contacts and got to know that they may start processing somewhere in mid or end of July 20... any recent grants for 309 or 600 temporary visa for spouse?.. also not sure when Australian borders will be opened to land in AU for visitors..

Thats the point isn't it? Your 309 will certainly take time, which is why you applied for Subclass 600. But with borders closed and no future date given as to when will it re-open, DHA is in no mood to process Subclass 600 Visas. There is really no point in granting visitors visa, while the border is closed.

Unfortunately, you are in for a wait as things look currently.
