Default Visa processing time sc186

Hi there,

My employer will sponsor me in sc186 (I am an engineer)
Do you have any experience with processing time since Covid19? The website suggests 61-82 days, but the visa agent told it could be more than a year. I hope she is just overly conservative on this, but some clarity would be nice.

Thank you in advance

Very few people on the forum who are sponsored by their employer
So you will have to rely on the agent information

Cheers

I have a friend and he got the sponsored visa within 2 months (before COVID-19).
Currently it could be slower but I don't think it'd be 1 year long.

Edit: he is in ACT
