Default Architect (232111) Skill assessment with Bachelor Degree (5 Years)

Hi Everyone,

I'm planning to apply for a skill assessment under Architect (232111) occupation.

I did a random search in this forum but I couldn't see anyone who got a positive skill assessment with 5 Years Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.

It seems that most of the people who got a positive assessment from AACA have a Master's Degree.

What is the possibility of getting a positive assessment from AACA? Is it mandatory to have a Masters's degree?

Please let me know if anyone got a positive skill assessment with 5 Years bachelor's degree (B.Arch).

But Architectural Draftsperson (312111) is not available on MTLSSL. It is in STSOL only.

I will not be able to apply for 189 VISA if I go for Architectural Draftsperson.

Also, My Spouse occupation is on MTLSSL. To gain 10 points for partner skills under 189, I need to have a positive skill assessment under Architect (232111).

Please advise if there is any alternative solution....

Hi,
I had the same concern and the questions from all friends in Aus is impossible, especially they also had BA in US. Having a MA is a must for positive SA for architect.

Just curious they had 5 years BA in US? or 3 years? some countries have 3 years BA degree. i.e In Australia Universities, bachelor's degree (B.Arch) is 3 years and Master degree (M.arch) is 2 years.
