Question Regarding 189 and 190 application at the same time

Hi All,

I am currently preparing for PTE to get required score as have plan to submit application mid of this year. In parallel, I am checking for visa process for 189 and 190. Can someone please help me on below points:

1) Can someone apply for 189 and 190 at same time?

2) If yes, then is there specific restriction or constraint?

3) Will you get kick out of process if you get invite for both 189 and 190?

4) Do I need to pay seperetly for 189 and 190?

5) The same skill assessment will be valid for both visa?

To be frank, I am interested to get 189 but competition is too high so want to apply for 190 as well. I don't know process so it would be great help if someone refer link or guide on this.

Thanks in advance.

1- yes

2- no. 190 has its condition for working and living in state for 2 years. Nothing besides that. Both are PR.

3- not unless you have same EOI. In case of same EOI whatever invite you get first will freeze the EOI for other visa category and therefore no invite for that second visa.

4- EOI is free but if you get invite for both then for visa application you would have to pay for both separately.

5- to some extent yes. Both visas have different job codes eligibility so it depends on what job code you pick for each visa type.
