Exclamation Withdrawing a Visa Application

Hi there, I Have a problem let me explain,

I Had 489 Visa and I have lived 2 years in South Australia and worked more than 1 year as full time. Which are my visa conditions to apply PR. I've qualified to apply 887 visa. When you apply for 887 Visa, you can get medicare directly, No need to wait to get PR. Applying is enough for medicare.

On 489 visa, me and my family has no medicare. My wife gave birth and we had to pay 8000$hospital cost. Made a payment plan and paying slowly. After my daughter birth, she had a small hearth problem called as "murmur" which needs to be watched every 3 month as doctors said. Everytime we went to hospital to check, we have been charged 700 $. And my insurance(bupa) only paying 70$ back (I've canceled later)
Thats my story, anyway, after I've completed my 2nd year, we appylied for 887 Visa. Before apply, I've checked the documents needed, and I saw a proof of functional english for additional applicants. My wife has no confidence about that and we scared of any delay. (Which is mistake) That why I've applied for myself and for my babygirl. Finished the application and got the medicare.
Than I've filled 1436 "Adding an additional applicant after lodgement" and made payment from my Immi Account. 3 days later I got an email [email protected] and I have been informed that I Can not add my wife after I submitted my application.

Which causes my wife has to wait around 18 month to get my PR and then she can apply spouse visa and it will cost over 7000 $.

I Would like to ask that, if I withdraw my 887 application can i apply again? Is there any waiting period, or causing any problem?

I'm so stucked, please let me know if someone experienced

Thanks

I do feel you should be able to withdraw your 887 VISA and apply for a new one, however my suggestion is to consult a MARA agent for more clarity on the way forward

You can withdraw your 887 and your visa and its condition will automatically become your previous one which is 489. If your 489 has 4 years then that means you still have 2 years to go. Hope this is correct.

I strongly suggest you consult with a MARA agent and let them help you with your visa lodgement issue.

cheers,

Make sure you consult a reputed and experienced Mara agent
They may charge higher fees but you will get the correct advice
As it is you have lost money By taking uninformed decisions, so donít fall in the same trap again by taking free advice

Cheers
