Default Mistake in EOI already received invitation to apply.

I have recently received an invitation to apply for NSW 190 visa. While I was applying I realised that I have made a mistake. I got the following email from the case officer.

Thanks for sending the documents through. Looking at your EOI, it shows 80 points, which is the score you were invited at, but your application only shows 75. Are you able to claim the points for Australian study that appears in your EOI?

I understood this as Australian equivalent eduction. What are my options now?
Thanks

Not sure whether you’ve already submit application or not? Is this a formal invite (to DHA) or a pre-invite (to NSW)

If it is formal one, unfortunately, you’ve wasted 4000 bucks and got a 3 years ban for Australia due to Public Interests Criteria.

If you’re onshore, the review and appeal process at AAT might be an option but less possibility of successfully got a grant.

Good luck

Or he can withdraw the application (if the application is not yet finalized).

You said "while applying you realized". Does that mean you haven't yet submitted the application?

There won't be a ban because it was just a mistake of ticking a box (Australian education) in error thinking it as Australian "equivalent" education. A ban is when applicant does fraud- forges documents, identity, etc.
