Any chance for ICT Business Analyst - 261111 with 80 (189) and 85 (190) points ?
Submitted in Feb-2018, no invites yet.

Will get 5 more points after 3 months for experience as ACS deducted 4 years for assessment. Already maxed out in PTE/IELTs, is there any way to increase points or chances of invite?

Would appreciate if anyone can provide some insight into chances of EOI and guidance?

In the last invitation round, as per DHA, 95 and above with DOE of 27-Nov have been invited. In the round prior to that in November, 85 points with DOE 23-October have been invited. Which clearly shows that many EOI have increased points due to the change that got implemented in November.

Since your 189 will be 85 points in 3 months from now, it would be hard to estimate without seeing the trend for next two rounds of invitation. I would assume, all 95 pointers would be cleared and if there is a big round, 90 pointers and 85 should start to clear as well. But again, guesswork can be a problem, since policy change occurs around July 2020 and no one has a clue as to how big a round will be.

All the best.

So there is still some hope, will totally depend on the no. of invitation and will probably need to look at trends closely. Thanks for this insight, this is helpful. Cheers.
