Default Civil Engineer (233211) or Construction Project Manager (133111) Occupation

Hello everyone,

I have graduated as a Civil Engineer, and I have 3 years 1 months experience as a civil engineer, now I'm in the stage of skill assessment preparation, and have some doubt under which occupation should I go (civil engineer or construction project manager) and which one of them has a higher chances for the invitation in my situation.

Age: 30 pts
Education: 15 pts
Partner: 10 pts
Experience: 3 years
English: currently 10 pts aiming for 20 pts

Thanks in advance ...

No one can predict Invites.. And Civil Engineer is also good as well as CPM but State nomination for both is uncertain if state is willing to nominate you than they will and not than they won invite at 100 points..
And currently. Both Civil Engineer & CPM cutout point is 80-85
So you can go in both..
However if you have worked as Civil Engineer then How will you can assess your degree as a CPM
As job Duties of both are not same

I have checked the tasks on ANZSCOSEARCH for both occupations, and found that my duties fit as CPM tasks, however I heard that vetassess should deduct 1 year from the experience, is that ture.

Moreover as a civil engineer occupation I found in NSW list occupation that there are some additional requirement (is to be living in NSW, and to have been employed in NSW for at least one year), Is this means that NSW will not accept any applicants without NSW working experience?

Please advise ...

Yes if not applying as Cross occupation than vet. Will deduct 1yr only and for cross it will detect 3-4 years..
And yes if additional requirement is listed and you wouldn't be full fill it than they won't pick up you... NSW experience is required
And what's your Point break down?
I've also applied for CPM

Means my points will be:

Civil Engineer: 70 pts
or
Construction Project Manager: 65 pts (due to the deduction for the experience)

So what do you recommend?
