Question An year on 189 grant, no job, need direction

I got 189 Visa in Nov 2018. It has been a year. I am not able to get a single job offer from .Australia. I am deeply concerned, at the same time I am confused . I am based in India. I had undergone remote interviews with ten Australian based companies in last one year, all progressed to multiple rounds, but none resulted in offer. It's so disappointing.

There is something fundamentally wrong I am doing in my Australian job search.

On the contrary, during same time. I am able to securely job offers from two of three famed FAG (Facebook-Apple-Google) for Staff/Principal Engineer role. First, was in India, I refused, as I was focussed on Australia and did not want to change cities for short duration. The other-one on contrary is in West and is the current offer. If, I accept this offer, I think that will be end of my Australian dream.

So choice is work visa+great job vs PR+uncertain job. But, I loved Australia on my validation trip. Really confused, please advice?

You have to take the plunge
You have to take a considerable risk and relocate to Australia if you want to be considered seriously by employers
Keep funds in hand presuming that you Will not get work for a year

Cheers

Got it, thank you NB.
Only one query, I have done, validation trip so I need not go to Australia till last day of "travel rights", still my PR will remain valid. That is four year from now, as one year has passed?
Right?

Echoing NB, you'll have much better luck from onshore, and will be able to network face to face. If you have been getting interviews, that is promising. Have you asked for feedback for the few interviews that didn't proceed to an offer?

OK, thank you.

I try to get feedback every time. I got good feedback a few times, of being over-qualified. Considering most of Australian jobs are not well paying and don't do complicated stuff it made sense.

However, at same time, I did get worse feedback of having no knowledge . Pretty bad.

Overall, currently front end development in React is in demand. Node.js for full stack and AWS for infrastructure. But you are expected to be "know" these tools, rather than have the proven capability to build new products, as is usual focus on product companies in USA or India. Therefore salaries are depressed adjusted to cost of living.

I have more and less decide to park the PR for 3 years and take the job offer on work Visa.

Only, point remaining is, will be able to come to Australia, with just 6 months left of re-entry rights, stay for 2 years thereon, get re-entry rights, and apply for citizenship with 4 years of residency.
Is that possible? Please guide.
