Default CDR Help

Hi Guys,

I have to get my skill assessment done from EA for Telecommunication network engineer(263312). I am really having very hard time writing my CDRs. Can anyone pls suggest me a professional CDR writer who can help me with my CDRs. And how to choose a good CDR writer?

Regards,
Kaveendra

EA have specifically stated it has to be written by you. If you've earned the experience it shouldn’t be that difficult to write.

Ps* you can find sample CDRs on the internet to guide you.

It's not that hard writing CDR s. If you are a competent engineer, it should come naturally to you. EA will ban you if they find out you had outside help. Why take the risk. It's not an exam. There are no wrong answers. All you have to do is think about what you did as an engineer. If you have experience, even better. Write about it. How to write it and what to include is clearly mentioned in the booklet. If you follow it to the dot, they will have to give you a positive assessment.

Usually people get assessments as technologists even when they have an engineering degree and have worked as an engineer for years, because they fail to follow the booklet. There is a section which states the competencies you have to write about, follow that to the dot.

Coming to those professional CDR experts, some of them I have come across. They are just uni students trying to make money. I have seen cdr reports written by those so called professionals turn out to be utter garbage. I have seen people having to rewrite them after spending upto 2000$ on them.

My advice, do it by yourself. As long as you demonstrate the competencies, you are fine. After writing it, have a fellow engineer proof read it for added measure. Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestion mate. I have written 1 CDR in 1 month. Its just about devoting time and that im not able to do due to such a busy work life. Anyways, i will be writing them on my own now. Thanks again for the suggestions.

I know how hard it is if you are working as well. I was on the same boat. I actually took a day off and did it during the weekend. Turned out great. Just remembered, always follow the booklet. You can look at examples online, but follow the booklet. Otherwise chances are you will get screwed.

Good luck.

Strictly follow the booklet and the format. Add professional and technical terms more where you are describing your professional experience. This is the work you have done, you are the only person who can give the maximum info.
