Default Bringing Brother to Australia

Hi All,

Just wanted to understand if I can sponsor my brother and his wife to permanently live in Australia?

I am PR holder and living in NSW from 5 years
My sis too is Permanent resident and lives in NSW from 2 years.

What is the eligibility criteria and timeframe for family sponsorship visa?

Thank you.

You can sponsor family only if you are living in regional Australia

It is intended to be any part of Australia excluding Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth and Melbourne. Unlike the 489 visa, the regions of Newcastle, Wollongong and the NSW Central Coast will be designated regional areas.

Cheers

Hi,

Wondering if Adelaide falls under the regional category. I wish to sponsor my Cousin. Let me know the visa type and applicable code.

Cheers

My brother is in Sydney, working there since 3 months. He got PR visa 189 in July 2019 and moved there in July 2019. In total he has been living in Australia since July 2019.

Also , is my job offer letter for the same is mandatory?

Can he sponsor me?
Please let me know if you have any information.
