Default 190 Medical in Qatar

I would like to share my experience of carrying out health examination in Qatar for the Subclass 190 skilled nominated visa. The authorized body for conducting health checkups in Qatar is Gulf laboratory and X-ray. We need to make an appointment with the examination Centre prior to carrying out the health assessment.

The list of documents required during the appointment are:

I. Referral letter for all applicants (Primary and dependent) generated from the Immi account.
II. Three passport copies of each applicant.

The cost of health examination are as below:

I. All applicants above 18 years of age Ė QR. 1300/- (as on 16/10/2019)
II. All applicants below 18 years of age Ė QR. 1050/- (as on 16/10/2019)

Once the fees are paid the guys at the reception will direct us to carry out the Urine, blood and chest X-ray. After all the above-mentioned tests are carried out they will instruct us to visit Al Jameel Health Centre for conducting the physical examination, since this facility is not available at Gulf laboratory and X-ray.

We donít have to pay any fees at Al Jameel Medical Centre as we are only required to show the invoice paid at Gulf laboratory and X-ray and please donít forget to carry your Qatar residency card (QID) as they will need to prove your identity.

A panel physician will check your eyes, ear, throat and check for any lumps in the stomach or feet and ask details of health-related issues for your parents and siblings. Once the physicist is satisfied they will sign and stamp on the medical report generated by the Medical Centre. The results will be forwarded to Gulf laboratory and X-ray and they will upload the results on Immi account within 5-7 working days. Once they have uploaded the results you can check the status of your health assessment on the Immi account. If any further tests are required they will notify us.

Note: For kids, chest X-rays are not required as they will need to carry out tuberculin skin test and the result for which will be declared after 72 hours. After 72 hours, visit the laboratory and the doctor will inspect the skin for any reactions. If the results are found to be satisfactory, then no further tests are required.

Hi @vipinravi,

Thank you for sharing your experience, may I kindly inquire if you had acquired a MARN in Qatar? If so please share your experience as well, it would be much appreciated.

Hello,

Sorry I have not used a MARN agent as I had applied for the visa process myself.
