Default GUIDANCE REQUIRED: TSS to PR Movement - Developer

Hi All,

I am looking at option of getting my Australian PR and would want some guidance for the same.

Below mentioned are my queries:

>> I am currently in Australia with TSS visa. The occupation sub-class (or as I understand the ANZSCO Code) is "Systems Analyst - 261112". So, can I apply for PR under the ANZSCO - 261311, 261312 and 261313? Could it cause an issue in the processing or applying under 261112 would be better?

>> How and where to check the status of the Best ANZSCO Code selection, which would increase my probability of PR invite?

>> If there is anyone who has initiated the conversion of TSS to PR. A guidance in this would really help.

>> Also, what can I do further increase my Eligibility points?

Below mentioned is my basic profile:
  • Graduation: B.E. (Mechanical Engg.)
  • IT Experience: 11+ Years
  • IT Field: Developer/Consultant - PeopleSoft (Oracle ERP Product)

Hoping for some insight and guidance on this.

Cheers!

The million dollar question Is if your employer is ready to sponsor you for 186?
Did you talk to Him ?

Cheers

No. I have not had a word with them about Visa 186. Wasn't aware that there is such an option. 🙂

But based on what I have seen in the past, people generally apply for this in isolation in my organisation.

Do you have a sample of the ACS resume or Roles and Responsibilities document in the latest format?

Then itís not a conversion of tss to PR
You are applying independently for pr 189/190

Cheers

Ok. I get the point. Apologies for the confusion.

What I would want to know is there an issue - if I apply for an Independent PR 189/190 - with a different ANZSCO code other than the TSS for which I have been granted?

I hope this makes sense.

Maybe
If the tss Anzsco code and the PR Anzsco code are similar like 261313 or 261312 etc., then it’s not an issue
But if they are very different, then it’s logical to think that you are lying in one of the applications
So not only can your PR application be rejected, your 482 can also be affected

Cheers

Hi NB,

What if the roles and responsibilities of the tss visa raised by a company doesn't match with the anzso code for 261313

As long as the Anzsco code of the tss is also 261313 you should be safe

Cheers

Hi NB,

I had a similar feeling that is why I had rethink. In terms of the description they all are on the similar lines.

If you point me towards a place where I can get a sample resume for ACS application, would really help.

ANSCO Code - 261112

Cheers!
