Default AASW Skills Assessment - positive but confusing..pl help

Dear All,

I just received my AASW assessment today after waiting nearly 1 yr. My current employment, i have worked at same level (general manager) but worked across 3 departments (first in research & documentation, second in skill training and documentation and third in fundraising and projects implementation). In my assessment, they have stated my first position as aligning with social work but remaining positions are positively included as documents used to substantiate my first position in research and documentation, and also that the subsequent roles have required a post graduate in social sciences; if I total the first 3 work exp, it comes to 4y 11 months and 16 days. While totally i would be in the 5-8 yrs bracket. my question is should i contact aasw with this clarification or assume that they are counting in my experience till date and proceed with applying for VISA where i submit all the work documents to them? Because without these years added in, i would lose critical 5 points.. Please help..

I.e. in the opening lines they have referred to the first role and its tenure only as meeting "appropriately skilled level" as social worker.

But further on, while elaborating on the evidence for the same, they have referred to my subseqient roles in the same designation in the same organisation i.e. where they have stated "the job summary and the education required for the role is a post graduate in social sciences/social work from reputed institutions". Kindly advise if i should write back to AASW or just proceed with launching EOI and submit all the required documentation to the VISA authorities eventually..
