Exclamation Please help! Freaking out :(

I have applied for SA 489 on the 4th of July 2019 and gotten an Invite on the 19th of August 2019. I have just started to fill my Visa Application and realized I have made a few but silly mistakes on my EOI, which obviously cannot be modified now. The mistakes are

1) Wrong start and end date for Diploma in education qualification.
my actual start and end date for Diploma is 01/11/2011 (dd/mm/yyyy) and ends on 01/12/2013 (dd/mm/yyyy). However on my EOI I seemed to have swapped the date and months of both start and end: 11/01/2011 and 12/01/2013
This was recognized as a relevant diploma qualification by ACS and is a subset of my Bachelors degree which I am claiming points for and has the correct start and end date in a separate entry. This doesn't conflict with my date of employment or doesn't over claim the points or would give me undue advantage (to my better judgement).

2) This is bit if a serious mistake. I have seemed to entered an incorrect test taker id for my spouse's English test (I am claiming partner points). The date of exam taken and the scores all tallies with the report and also have a copy of the test report which I am planning to attach as proof, however I seem to have entered the customer ref ID (silly me) instead of the test taker ID found on the report.

Could anyone advise me what options I have now? My current circumstances are as bellow.
189: 70 pts
PTE: 20 pts
Age: 29
Job code: 261313

Given my job code and points, chances of getting a 189 seems pretty grim. However I am in a bit of a financial fix and losing my visa fees (6000 AUD)+ due to these silly mistakes would be very unfortunate and disheartening. Could anyone who has gone through similar circumstances advice me the correct course of action? Maybe share your similar experience so I could come to a better judgement as to let this invite go and possibly my dream of migrating to Australia and save my money or take the gamble?

Well if you didn't overcalim points, I think all you need to do is submit 'notification of incorrect answer' and give the correct details this time. That should do.

Email SA and ask if the invite can be transferred to a new EOI that you will lodge giving the correct dates and PTEA number
Explain your situation in detail emphasising that you got no advantage with these mistakes

If the points donít change then thereís no big problem. Just mention true information in visa application and all is good. If still confuse then consult any good migration LAWYER as the legislation is very clear that you must prove the points in your invitation letter were genuine on the date of invitation.

The mistakes are not so big as you are thinking, just provide correct information in the visa application and all will be good. Best of luck!!!

My view as below:

Your qualification just provide you points and the points for this doesnít change with respect to dates and if the qualification is assessed nothing to worry about on the date entry.

ID details entry for PTE again nothing to worry about. We are human and everyone can make mistake with data entry.

Consider the situation, you have not reviewed this information after submitting the application form.

On the other hand since you had reviewed and noted, if you wish you can submit data for incorrect answers.

Form 1023 is not applicable for wrong information in the EOI
The form 1023 can be used for mistakes when submitting the application

Cheers

It is a fairly widely known bug with the Skill Select website that it swaps the date and months fields around between the entry and the final submission screens. For others reading this, it's very important to review the final screen properly before submitting an EOI to ensure the software has not swapped the day and month around. I had to fix it about 4 times (PTE, Degree, Work experience etc)

I'd imagine they get this A LOT, so providing it doesn't mean you've been awarded points you're not entitled to (eg work experience), i'd expect you'll be able to get it sorted.

As long as you did not over claimed points, it would be fine.

Since SA has now stopped giving 489 nominations and also once an invitation is provided by DoHA, SA has nothing to do with it I doubt they would be able to do anything. However let me shoot them an email as you suggested and give it a try. At worst I can tell CO that I attempted to correct this mistake and it was a genuine mistake. Thanks. Cheers
