Default Relevant Skilled Employment Assessment for 189

Hello everyone,

I have looked for a similar case in the forum but could not find one. So here is my case and 2 questions:

-I was assessed by EA in 2017, Professional Engineer
-I applied for additional skilled employment assessment for 2 companies-periods in 2018, outcome was positive only for one of them (was not able to provide additional docs for the other one)
-I have struggled to get R&R letter from the company and I finally got it

Question 1: I have already submitted an application for a period of employment in the past which was not included on my outcome letter by EA. Since I have all the required docs I would like to re-apply for the assessment to include that period as well. I am willing to pay the full fee again to be safe after the invite (if i receive ever) and also do not want to lose money and time. Would EA re-consider the previous period and give me another outcome letter?

Question 2: I am confident with the document I have as an employment evidence. Should I wait for an assessment letter from EA and then change my EOI (it will be 75 point for 189)? Would it be an issue if I change the date of effect of my EOI now and receive an assessment letter from EA after that date?

In any case my evidence document will have a date before I claim points in EOI and I believe that updating EOI today and receiving a relevant skilled emploeyment assessment letter later should not be an issue since it is not compulsory. Any comments will be highly appreciated
