Default Initial Entry Date exemption

Hi guys,

Is there anyone here who got an exemption from the initial entry date condition for 189 visas. If yes please tell me the procedure to request an exemption? I got my PR but the initial entry date is after four months and I'll not be able to come before that date.

Cheers

If the IED is very close, then only you can get an exemption

For 4 months away, there is no way you can get an exemption unless you can show that you have medical reasons for not being able to complete the same

Cheers

I still want to try. Can you tell me the procedure? I read that I need a Facilitator letter from the immigration department.

You can write back to the same email id from which you got your grant
This will ensure that it goes back to the co who handled your case
