Question Update passport after submitting application for citizenship?

Hi expats,

My passport I used for the permanent residency application was expired so I changed for a new one. I used the new passport for the application for citizenship but also upload the expired one with proper description of change.

I wonder whether, and if yes, how, I have to get my new passport formally updated and documented, such as on the visa document, so that there won't be an issue with reentry after an overseas trip. Please advise.

You have to update the new passport number using the update us link in Immiaccount

Check in VEVO after a couple of days to reconfirm that itís updated

Cheers

Thanks. I actually updated the new passport information on my residency application page a week ago. Nothing has happened yet, maybe it takes time.

I used the new passport for the citizenship application, so it shows up as the passport in use when I try to update on the citizenship application page. It looks like I don't need to update it there.

VEVO still shows your old passport number?
