Default Questions regarding UAE PCC

Hi Everyone,

I am currently residing outside of UAE and have lived in UAE for about 3 years. While I know the process of getting PCC from outside of UAE, I have some questions below
  1. Would CO ask for UAE PCC again because the validity of certificate is only 3 months?
  2. Generally, the certificate comes through email. Would the softcopy suffice for 189 application or should I also need hardcopy and then attach the scanned copy?
  3. I have lived in 2 cities, dubai and Abu Dhabi and certificate is provided without any residential details by MOI. Do I need 2 PCC, one from Dubai Police and another from Abu Dhabi Police? Any personal experience ?

Thank you for the answers. I am always grateful for the community here. Very helpful.

Regards,
Faraz

Your PCC from UAE is nation wide, another state PCC will not be required.
Soft copy is enough, I used it for the same.
The validity is considered 1 year by Australian CO regardless of whatever written on the certificate.

Thanks for the quick reply. I got it.

One more question, do I also need fingerprints attested by UAE embassy for online pcc request through moi?

regards,
Faraz

Seems like it is pretty straightforward. I just chatted on MOI site and the guy sent me the link to go to for people living outside of UAE.

The first thing website asks for is your expired Emirates Id and then comes the form to fill up with payment options to pay in the subsequent steps. It shows the cost which is 105AED only.

No documents attachment required, no pictures or fingerprints requirement. The only caveat is delivery is only on email not by post.

Hope that would work for visa 189 requirement.
