Default Partner employment documents upload while filling visa

Hi All,

I am lodging my 189 visa application and claiming spouse points.
While uploading documents in immi accounts, I dont see any option asking for spouse's employment documents.
Can someone please guide me where I need to upload these documents?

Hi Priyanka,

There are 2 ways to do this. Some people follow the first one and some the latter.

1. After you pay the visa fees, you will get to see the "Other documents" section on the left navigation pane. This section is available for all applicants. Here you can go to the Spouse section and upload Spouse employment documents. Please ensure to follow proper naming conventions to all your documents.

Note: Documents uploaded in the "Other documents" section is/ are also counted in the total of 60 documents for each applicant.

2. In your section (primary applicant) of uploading documents, there is a section which is "Evidence of Partner Skills" - here you have drop-downs for:
a. PTE Score Card
b. Skills Assessment
c. Others
Here, in this Others section, you can upload Spouse employment documents. Please ensure to follow proper naming conventions to all your documents.

Good Luck!

Thanks SG for the details. First option I was not aware of but yes I did thought of second option. But in this I might end up consuming the document limit under my name.
First option looks good.

Also, in spouse document section, there is skill assessment tab. We have others option there too. I was thinking to use this as an alternative to upload under my name. Will this be ok?

Spouse employment documents are actually not required to claim partner points. If you however want to submit these I would suggest you combine as may as possible into a single pdf to ensure you do not reach document limit.

But we have seen a couple of cases where CO contact was for asking spouse employment documents so its better to upload all in advance
