This is what I do,
Come to office, as usual, check my Immi account, check on several forums that i am following.
I started a Drinking water challenge. So I am concentrated on my body hydrate level and consumption of liquids.

Set up a goal to reduce my weight by 5kg. at home do my workouts.

daydream how to hand over my resignation letter to my boss.

daydream how to deliver my farewell speech.

yet.... yet my boys... time stand still.

so tell me what else should i do....
You should try to find what is more interesting to you like me started creating a website for travelling and the liked designing webpage job and started studying how to design logos and all.

4. Helping fellow applicants on Expatforum.
5. Worked on my Resume and CL. Its almost like I am making it for the first time. The last time I made it was internship and then was absorbed by the same company for close to 9.5 years.
6. Building a book library for my 1.3 year old.

On a funny note,

1. Learning statistics and analysis using Immitracker
2. Learning knowledge gathering and linking data available on expatforum and immitracker

On a serious note, trying to keep myself busy as much as possible to help stay away from negative thoughts.
This is a nice post related to this thread and there is no use in having a negative though as long as there are no false documents attached.

I believe making youself always busy with some other really interesting work will make your life more better than you think.

Like I am studying Javascript which I never heard about earlier in life.

Thanks Josygeorge!

This is a nice thread which should help a lot of applicants to read what applicants can do in the processing times. It's been 5 months and then some since I lodged 189.

I assume it's going to be another 3 months before I hear anything.

Thinking negatively, applicants could just get crazy with doing nothing except checking forums, trackers and accounts for any update. It could get really frustrating and lead to depressing thoughts and moods.

Thinking positively, this could be a good time to learn new skills, spend some time with family, update your resume (trust me it can take a lot of time), learn a new language on duolingo or some other app. This is a time you won't get again once you reach down under as you start the struggle again to start life there.

It could be a good time to develop a new hobby. For e.g. I just realized I did not have a hobby at all which I could pursue. And finding a hobby takes time. I always wanted to pursue writing as a hobby. When I started learning how to write professionally, it did not interest me anymore. I realized I just enjoyed simple writing, like this post for example or maybe some quora articles. Now planning to look at astronomy as a hobby with a starter telescope.

The earlier writings indicate how much professional writer you are. Supporting to your point there is no use in inducing negative thoughts in everybody mind like the news spreading around one week earlier such as bad news for 189 and 190.

Let's be positive and learn some new hobby or new skill that will help us swim the ocean of life subjected to the condition that we all get visa grant at the allocated time.

Let the grant come as per their wish, but don't let the passion to learn new things go away from you.

Good positive attitude there. Happy that you finally got your invite! Good luck with JavaScript. I don't like front-end development :P but it is a decent language to start with.

I'm slowly trying to wean off from my expatforum and myimmitracker addiction and get back to work which is much more interesting!
Been procrastinating for a few months now at work and the deadlines have piled up...

Also need to make that gym membership count.

For some inspiration, 9 months ago I couldn't even run 200m and now I can run 5km continuously
