Default Software Engineer or Security Specialist in 2018-2019

Which occupation out of Software Engineer or Security Specialist has better chances in 2018-2019 with 65 points for 189 and 70 Points for 190?

Software engineer was prorata

Security specialist was non-prorata

I know I should work on increasing my points but need suggestion on occupation code for now. My JD is good enough for both. Please help me select an occupation considering quicker invitation to apply and other factors.

My advice is little weird and not based on the trends or anything. So use your best judgment.
If you can get a positive assessment for both and don't mind spending extra $500 for assessment, go ahead and assess under both codes and submit two EOIs.
It is very unpredictable these days, so go all out if you are serious about getting a PR.

Second that.

Getting PR is more priority now. Getting a job and settling there is upto you
