Smile ACS Skill Assessment for 261111

Dear All,

This is my first post here, and I have a feeling this forum is a very great place to get answers related to Aus Visa process etc..

I have recently applied for ACS Skill assessment for ICT Business Analyst - 261111. I have a Master's degree in Civil Engineering & Work experience in IT (Close to 8-yrs.). I have submitted both Education and Work experience documents (Employer referral / Notary) to ACS.

Q-1 What are the chances of my Skill assessment be +ve, as my education is non-IT and submitted Skill assessment for ICT Business Analyst - 261111.

Q-2 One of the local consultancy I contacted suggested me go through - VETASSESS for Educational Qualification & ACS for Work experience assessment.

Please suggest on above 2 queries.

-Thanks

for question 1: For non IT education you need to apply RPL (recognition of prior learning) on ACS... ACS will deduct 4 or 6 years of your experience based if they find your job RnR relevant...

for question 2: I think you need to apply on ACS with education + work assessment...

however, you can consult with experts on the forum on the same.

Smile Thank you!

Thanks a lot Mitsi for RPL suggestion.. I have searched forums / google and found some information working on preparing RPL form content. However, do you / know of someone who has a Sample document for reference?.

I know the content would obviously vary from person to person, based on their current/ previous work experience. But, will be helpful if you know of any and can post it. You applied for ACS with IT / Non-IT background - if you don't mind me asking?
