Default B.Tech in Biotechnology & Experience in IT Industry

Hi Friends,

I am having a B.Tech in Bio Technology from Punjab Technical University & having 9 yrs of experience in IT Industry.
I searched a lot on this forum, but didn't get any concrete information. So, posting this thread again and hopeful to get the required information this time.
Please let me know how to decide whether my education lies under ICT Major, ICT Minor or i have to go for RPL?
I have read so many documents on the ACS website, but not able to understand it.
Which subjects should be considered while deciding the category? As first year is common for all the streams in INDIA, which covers some ICT subjects. One or two (not sure about Environmental Studies) more subjects of my degree also falls under ANZSCO Code: 261313 - Software Engineer. But, still confused whether i can apply under ICT Minor or not?
I am sure someone else must be having the same case as mine, if they have cleared this process, please help to get better understanding & finally process my ACS as early as possible with correct category.

Looking forward for getting the required information for Biotechnology graduates from the Expats.
