Question Sc189 / 221111 CPA Skilled Migration Reference Question? What's your opinon??

Hello all,

I've viewed this forum from afar in the past and this is my first post

My wife and I are looking to apply for a sc189 visa visa the 221111 accountant route.

At the minute we have 70 points but I'm applying for the additional 5 points via the CPA skilled migration assessment process.

I have submitted all of the required detail to the CPA however I have concerns over 1 of my permanent references.

I spent 5 years at a large confectionery business based in the U.K. doing 3 different roles between 2003 and 2008:

Financial analyst
Accounts payable manager
Export finance analyst

My question is as follows....

I have requested a reference from the Business however they have destroyed my records due to data protection.

Because it was so long ago I did not keep any payslips or contracts to prove my experience.

I have therefore taken the following course of action to try and mitigate the lack of a reference:

Written a Statutory Declaration with the following evidence

1. A letter from an ex-work colleague detailing my employment time at the business and an outline of the 3 roles I undertook including main responsibilities, hours worked and that I was a permanent employee.

2. A personal (but not dated) reference from my line manager when I was a financial analyst.

3. The email trial from HR stating they have destroyed my records so they are unable to provide me with a reference.

4. A basic pension statement dated 2012 stating the value of my pension pot amassed while at the company.

5. A basic pension statement dated 2013 stating the value of my pension pot amassed while at the company.

6. A letter from 2014 confirming my change of address for pension purposes.

Do you think that this is enough evidence to prove that I worked for this business?

My only concern is that I can not really detail my roles and responsibilities in detail.

In your opinion is the above enough evidence to satisfy the CPA?

Thanks for your help!
Bob
